Ink cartridges are the smaller cartridge type (no bigger than a clenched fist) used in home printers and use a liquid ink.
If we can reuse your empty ink cartridges for New Perspectives Theatre Company, we'll give you a Freepost label you can print to send your cartridges. If we can't, we'll help you find other recycling services for them.
If you have any full or unused cartridges, please use our full cartridge service instead.
If you have toner or laser cartridges (foot long, and used in office printers and photocopiers), please see our toner/laser recycling service instead.
Which company is the manufacturer of your inkjet printer?
Please find a strong envelope, Jiffy bag or similar to send your cartridges. I'm afraid we can no longer supply pre-printed envelopes.
You can send up to 750g per package. Please make sure it is the smaller ink cartridges you have (not toner/laser cartridges), and if you have quite a few cartridges, please send as several smaller packages.
To use our Freepost service and get a pre-paid label, please give us your email address so we can get in touch to confirm the receipt of your cartridges, and get in touch if there are any problems.
Put your cartridges securely in the envelope or box, and then just pop it in a postbox, include it with your office's mail collection, or hand it over at any Post Office.
That's it. Congratulate yourself. You should receive an email within a couple of weeks when we've successfully processed your cartridges.
In addition, 3 out of 4 of your friends on average will be simply binning their cartridges!
HP and Canon are the most popular brands of printer, so we can definitely help some of your friends save their cartridges from landfill if you pass on the word.
Originals — made by Epson themselves, display the Epson logo on the cartridge, and have not been refilled or recycled.
We can recycle your original-branded Epson cartridges as a courtesy, but I'm afraid they don't have enough value to raise funds.
Compatibles — made by a different brand or company. They may be fake versions, or empty original Epson cartridges that have been refilled or recycled. They are also called 'remanufactured' or 'non-virgin' cartridges.
I'm afraid we can't recycle any compatible Epson cartridges. Please instead visit EveryCartridge.com for alternative ways to recycle these cartridges.
If your inkjet printer is not an HP, Canon or Epson model, I'm afraid we can't reuse the cartridges or recycle them.
If you are using our toner cartridge recycling service to send your used laser cartridges and already qualify for a free collection, you can send your non-reusable inkjets along with those toner/laser cartridges.
Otherwise please instead visit EveryCartridge.com to find alternative recycling destinations for these.
For example, most manufacturers have free recycling schemes for their cartridges, and there are plenty of options for local dropoffs that you can find links to on that page.
